Things to Know Before Ordering an Ipod Nano Free With a Mobile Phone
The latest addition to the Apple Ipod family is the smaller, slimmer, stylish Ipod Nano.
Advantages of the Ipod Nano
The new 'Genius' feature is a real defining point about the Ipod Nano. The feature picks tracks that are similar to the track you're already listening to. Genius also incorporates the tracks into a playlist. Apple describes the Genius feature on the Ipod Nano as being like having 'your own highly intelligent, personal DJ'. The Ipod Nano comes in either 8GB or 16GB memory. That means the 8GB can hold up to 2000 and the 16GB, 4000 songs. The Ipod Nano also comes with the capacity to hold up to 14000 photos and 16 hours of video. The Ipod Nano can also be used as a flash drive as it has a USB port. Using the Ipod Nano as an external hard drive is a very popular option with students especially as they don't want to carry around extra hard drives and cables. On a full battery, the Ipod Nano can play 24 hours of audio without needing to be charged. This is definitely a plus point for eco (and price) conscious consumers as they don't want to be charging their Ipod Nano every night to save on electricity and electricity costs. The Ipod Nano is a very well designed product, the surface is slightly curved which makes it ergonomically designed to fit easily into a palm. The classic 'click wheel' feature also appears on the Ipod Nano for easy and quick navigation of files.
Disadvantages of the Ipod Nano
The shiny metal back of the Ipod Nano gets scratched very easily once the protective plastic layer is removed. Similarly, the matte black front surface of the Ipod Nano is easily scarred with greasy fingerprints, even though these can be removed quickly with a soft cloth it is quite irritating to have to keep wiping the Ipod Nano to remove unwanted fingerprints. The battery life for audio is 24 hours which is a lot for audio but the battery life for video playback is disappointing at only 3 hours on a fully charged battery. There have been some reports of the screen of the Ipod Nano breaking easily when sat on, the lesson there is don't sit on it! With good care an Ipod Nano can easily last up to 4 years and maybe longer depending on how often it is used.
Summary of the Ipod Nano
The Ipod Nano is just like a mini media centre, it does everything you could possibly want from an Ipod of its size and price.
